PLEASE RATE This is the Goodman heat pump at my Grandma’s roughly 3800 square foot condo in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I actually think it is quieter in heat mode than it is in air-conditioner mode, and while it is noisy and shakes the house, it does do a great job of cooling and an okay job of heating the house. I also start acting like a kid and get a laugh out of brushing snow into the moving fan. A little info about my Grandma’s neighborhood; the homes are all 3 bedrooms with 2.5 or 3.5 bathrooms, ranging in size from 2500 square feet to about 3000 square feet. The majority of the homes have since had their basements finished and square footage is closer to 4000, with 4-5 bedrooms and 4-5 full bathrooms. They were all built between 1993 and 1995. There are 10 buildings each with 3 homes. Each floorplan was designed by a different architect, but they were all built to look the same externally. These homes are big enough to be single family homes, but because they are attached and the residents do not own the land, they are considered condos.
