for a shaded pole motor, very low starting torque 50% less of full load torque. excelent speed control, these motor’s typically are 1/250 HP to 1/4HP, and voltage available range from 115 volts to 230 volts. The down side to this motor is it has poor efficiencies and high noise levels. The advantage to this motor is it’s quite rugged.
